2024 AAUW South Bend Local Scholarship

AAUW is a powerful advocate and visible leader in equity and education in critical areas impacting the lives of all women and girls. Education as the path to equity is, and will remain AAUW’s core value and activity.

Eligibility: Women 25 years of age or older who are enrolled in an accredited 4-year college, an accredited Junior or Community College, or an accredited post high school technical training program are eligible to apply. Winners will receive $1,000 to be applied to tuition fees ONLY and will be delivered directly to the academic institution through the student’s identification number.

Applications are due May 1, 2024. Winners will be announced by May 31, 2024.

*      Please attach to this form an essay of 250-300 words detailing why you are applying for this scholarship.  Include any biographical information pertinent to your educational aspirations and explain why you  are in need of this scholarship to attend college.

Please include one letter of recommendation written by a person  (not a relative) who knows you well or has been a supervisor/mentor.
