Weds., Sept. 11, 2023.   Informational meeting for faculty and students on IUSB campus at            3:00-4:30 on American Association of University Women’s Organization and membership.

Saturday, Oct. 07, 2023 . Book Banning topic at the South Bend Downtown Public Library at         2:00. This event is  free and open to the public.

Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 at 2:00. Program on Health Care for Women and Girls in Indiana . Speaker is Heidi Beidinger.  Location to be announced. This program is free and open to the public.

Spring 2024

 February, 20,,2024 ,  Zoom meeting  with Lisa Matz with an update on congressional issues.

March , 2024 -Gloria Kaufman Lecture at IUSB Campus . Date TBA.  Event will be in the Education and Arts Building. Guests are welcomed. This event is free and open to the public.

Match 25, 2024 at 12:00 luncheon with location TBA. Two graduate students from Notre Dame will speak on their fellowship projects and how they will use their educational experiences when returning to Africa.

Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 12:30 a  luncheon at Tippecanoe Restaurant.  Charlotte Pfeiffer will speak on her activist journey in South Bend as the first black female probation officer to president of the common council to a IUSB professor for many years. She will update us on current trends moving forward in diversity and inclusion in South Bend.

May is Local Scholarship Month and branch fund raising. Local Scholarship Applications are due  by April 30, 2024 for consideration by our Local Awards Committee.

A Saturday in June, 2024- Annual Meeting and Program -Time and place pending. Election of Officers and Introductions of our local scholarship recipient(s) will be made. Plans will be discussed for the following year. Guests are welcomed.
